Cognitive IQ Pty Ltd (ABN 62 617 252 892), trading as Career Campus
These Terms of Enrolment constitute an agreement between Cognitive IQ Pty Ltd ABN 62 617 252 892, trading as Career Campus, and the person enrolling in a Career Campus course ("Student"). Where the Student is under 18, the parent or legal guardian may also be required to provide consent and accept applicable terms.
An application does not automatically constitute acceptance. Career Campus may require completion of an application, identity or eligibility information, payment of required fees, acceptance of these Terms, and completion of required documentation. Enrolment becomes effective when Career Campus confirms acceptance.
Career Campus will provide information concerning course title, duration, curriculum, delivery method, timetable, assessment requirements, fees and available student support. Career Campus currently structures relevant programs around a six-month training period plus an additional two-month study/revision period, subject to the specific course offering and enrolment documentation applicable to the Student. The specific course information supplied to the Student at enrolment forms part of the relevant enrolment arrangement.
Career Campus provides education and training designed to develop students' knowledge and practical skills. Unless expressly stated otherwise, completion of a Career Campus course does not automatically confer an Australian university degree, an AQF qualification, registration as a tax agent, professional membership, government licensing, migration status, Australian visa entitlement, or employment. Only qualifications or accreditations expressly identified by Career Campus should be represented as being formally accredited or nationally recognised — this matters because NSW Government guidance states that nationally recognised VET qualifications and accredited courses are delivered by registered training organisations.
Career Campus may provide career guidance, industry exposure, employer introductions or placement opportunities. However, Career Campus does not guarantee employment unless a separate written employment agreement expressly provides otherwise. Participation in a course does not guarantee employment, salary, employment with a BPO, employment with Career Campus, migration, visa approval, or professional registration. Where Career Campus introduces a Student to an employer or BPO, the employer independently determines recruitment, selection and employment conditions.
Students must provide accurate information, attend or participate as required, complete assessments honestly, comply with reasonable instructions, respect trainers and other students, maintain appropriate conduct, protect their login credentials, not share course materials without permission, comply with applicable platform rules, and notify Career Campus of material changes affecting their participation.
Students must not plagiarise, impersonate another student, submit another person's work, fabricate assessment evidence, manipulate academic records, cheat, improperly collaborate, or use unauthorised assistance. Career Campus may investigate suspected academic misconduct; consequences may include a warning, reassessment, suspension, cancellation of assessment, suspension of access, or termination of enrolment. Any disciplinary action will be subject to applicable law and procedural fairness appropriate to the circumstances.
Course materials, presentations, recordings, manuals, assessments, templates, software configurations and other educational resources remain the intellectual property of Career Campus or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Students receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use course materials for their own educational purposes, and must not, without written permission, reproduce substantial course materials, sell them, distribute them, upload them publicly, commercially exploit them, or provide them to third parties.
Where online learning is provided, students are responsible for maintaining suitable internet access, compatible devices, functioning email, required software and secure login credentials. Technical requirements will be communicated by Career Campus where applicable.
Students must pay the applicable course fees in accordance with the agreed payment arrangement. Failure to make required payments may result in suspension of access, withholding of non-essential services, cancellation of enrolment, or recovery action where legally permissible. Career Campus will not use a contractual term to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
Career Campus may reasonably modify trainers, class times, delivery methods, learning materials, assessment methods, course sequencing, or software used for training, and will seek to ensure material changes are communicated appropriately. Where a change constitutes a failure to provide the contracted service or otherwise triggers statutory rights, those rights remain unaffected.
Career Campus may cancel or postpone a course where circumstances reasonably require it, including insufficient enrolment, trainer unavailability, operational circumstances, technology or venue issues, or circumstances outside reasonable control. Where Career Campus cancels a course and cannot provide an appropriate alternative, applicable refund rights will be dealt with under the Refund Policy and Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Australian Consumer Law provides mandatory guarantees for services, including requirements relating to due care and skill, fitness for purpose and reasonable time where no timeframe has been agreed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Career Campus is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances outside Career Campus' reasonable control. However, nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
Student personal information will be handled in accordance with the Career Campus Privacy Policy, which forms part of the overall student policy framework.
Students are encouraged to raise concerns with Career Campus as soon as reasonably possible. Career Campus will seek to resolve complaints fairly and efficiently, and where appropriate, complaints may be escalated to management. Nothing prevents a student from exercising rights available under Australian consumer, privacy or other applicable legislation.
Career Campus may suspend or terminate enrolment where a Student seriously breaches these Terms, engages in serious misconduct, engages in fraud, repeatedly fails to comply with reasonable requirements, engages in threatening or abusive conduct, misuses Career Campus systems, commits serious academic misconduct, or fails to pay required fees. Termination will not remove any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the applicable courts and tribunals of New South Wales, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or consumer rights applying by law.
